Rule of thumb is a minimum of of 12 weeks in the online Fire Academy come to skills the following month if we have availability. Usually, if a student is working full time and has a family it is going to take longer to do this course. Yes, some students have completed the online in as little as 10 weeks and come to skills for the last 2 weeks. This is by far the exception and not the rule. Why, because life happens. In the classroom it’s 12 weeks going to school 8 hours a day 5 days a week and studying and doing coursework at night. When picking a skill session pick one that the student can attend, plan ahead of time and set aside the 13 days the student will be here.
EMT - Basic Course Online Schedule: Tuition: ($1,100.00)

Required Online Student Prerequisite: NIMS – IS100, IS700
You must have your CPR for the Healthcare Provider when you arrive for skills.
Textbook: Prehospital Emergency Care, 12th Edition.
On Arrival date the student(s) will take their course final followed by skills as long as the student passes all the requirements. During that time, the student will be scheduled for their 2-12 hours in the ER and 2 – 24 hours on the ambulance. Please call (903) 438-0300 for details.
